At Cavanna Group, every beam, panel or structure tells a story that begins long before the finished product. It is a story of respect for nature, of controlled supply chains and processing that combines tradition and innovation. A journey that starts from the forests and reaches the hands of our customers, following an entirely traceable, responsible and transparent path.

The choice of wood: only from certified forests

It all starts with the raw material. Cavanna Group selects timber exclusively from sustainably managed forests, where every tree harvested is part of a reforestation and environmental protection plan. We work with suppliers certified according to PEFC™ and FSC® standards, a guarantee of forest management that cares for the environment, local communities and biodiversity.

Traceability and supply chain control

From the moment wood enters our plants, every step is monitored. Thanks to digital systems and structured processes, we are able to ensure complete traceability of the material, from the lot of origin to the individual processed piece. This approach not only reinforces the quality of our products, but is also a guarantee of transparency for our customers.

Low-impact processing

At our Rocca Grimalda manufacturing plant, the entire processing cycle is optimized to reduce waste and environmental impact. We use high-efficiency numerical control technologies, automated cutting systems and optimization software that allow us to maximize material utilization and minimize waste. Off-cuts from processing is recovered and put to secondary uses.

Clean energy and responsible choices

The entire production activity is supported by a photovoltaic system that contributes to reducing the company’s energy footprint. Furthermore, our technical packaging and wooden structures are designed with durability and reuse in mind, to extend the useful life of materials and reduce waste at the end of the cycle.

A commitment that looks far ahead

For us, choosing a sustainable supply chain is not an added value: it’s a duty. That is why we constantly invest in research, automation and staff training, so that every stage of our work is consistent with an environmentally friendly and future-oriented production vision.
