1. Definitions and characteristics of cookies Cookies and related technologies are pieces of information that sites and apps send or read on your devices on your first visit, to be transmitted back to the same sites, apps on your next visit. It is thanks to these technologies that websites and apps remember actions and preferences (e.g. login data, chosen language, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that they do not have to be indicated again on the next visit.
These technologies are used to perform computer authentication, session monitoring and storage of information concerning the activities of users accessing a service and may also contain a unique identification code that allows tracking of the user’s navigation within the site for statistical or advertising purposes.
In line with Applicable Law, your prior consent for the use of cookies is not always required. In particular, such consent is not required for ‘technical cookies’, e.g. those used for the sole purpose of carrying a communication over an electronic communication network, or strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the user. The presence of these plugins results in the transmission of cookies to and from all sites operated by third parties. The handling of information collected by ‘third parties’ is governed by the relevant policies to which please refer. For the sake of transparency and convenience, for each of these sites we provide the web address of the information and methods for managing cookies, as well as any refusal to consent to the installation of cookies:
