Post-covid-19 construction has got to be more efficient and eco-sustainable, as Giuliano Dall’O, lecturer at the Milan Polytechnic, has already argued; for this reason, the ideal buildings will be made of wood.

Specifically, prefabricated wooden houses using the Xlam construction method.
The X-Lam or Cross-Lam construction system for wooden buildings and houses consists of cross-laminated and glued wooden panels (minimum 3 layers), with highly variable thicknesses and dimensions whose geometric characteristics generally depend on the technologies of the manufacturers and on static dimensioning.
