The Cavanna Group has always been committed to safety at work, which is why when the COVID-19 crisis struck it enforced rigorous social distancing rules and weekly sanitisation protocols.

In accordance with Prime Ministerial Decree (DPCM) of 26 April 2020, the company:

  • adopted plexiglass solutions to avoid contact between internal staff and customers
  • equipped all personnel with protective masks, gloves and all necessary PPE;
  • placed disinfectant gels for visitors in all rooms;
  • displayed Italian and English language signs setting out the appropriate behavioural guidelines to keep Covid-19 under control;
  • adopted the guidelines provided by the same Prime Minister’s Decree on safety at construction sites.

On the back of our experience in timber construction, we have been able to significantly reduce the time required, so limiting contact between personnel on the construction site. Not only for the installation of wooden roofs, but also in the construction of wooden houses, since most of the construction elements are prefabricated on our premises.
The Cavanna Group is proud to be front and centre in the battle against Sars-Cov2 in the form of a series of donations of ppe (masks with ffp2 certification) to care homes in the province of Alessandria.
