Nordelaia is a 12-room Boutique Hotel, tucked away in the wine-growing region of Piedmont, in an area that is part of the Monferrato UNESCO World Heritage Site. The design is by These White Walls.
The hotel was built with total respect for the original farmhouse dating back to 1800, the aim being to restore the historical elements of the building, as well as to create a direct link with Nature and the local area.
Sustainability is a key element and this is ensured by the presence of a large-scale geothermal system and wooden structural elements.
Particular features of the roof are the dormer window infills which were made of the same material as the roof in order to avoid creating thermal bridges.
