As lovers of art, one of our values is respect for it, and it is here where technology and state-of-the-art are concealed so that tradition is not sidelined.
Working on a 16th-century building was a daunting challenge, but one that taught us a great deal.
The roof, which was the focus of the project, is characterised by a clear definition of volumes, achieved by setting back the secondary framework, divided by two horizontal beams; the same strong symmetry typical of Palladian floor plans has been replicated on the roof surface through the use of six wooden trusses, the whole structure was upgraded by incorporating cork thermal insulation to ensure the entire building is durable and has zero environmental impact.
